A dental implant replaces the lost tooth root and forms a firm foundation for crowns, bridges or dentures. Before every procedure we plan the ideal implant position digitally on the basis of three-dimensional X-ray images (CBCT). Using an individually manufactured drilling template we transfer this planning into the procedure with millimetre precision (guided surgery).

Aftercare

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and is usually low in pain. Any discomfort afterwards can be managed well with medication.
How long until the finished crown?
Depending on bone quality and any augmentation, it usually takes a few weeks to months from placement to the final restoration.

With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, implants can last many years. However, no guarantee can be given, as longevity depends on individual factors.
